This recipes are all delicious and simple to make!
Today being the second of December is the perfect time to make it, freeze it and save lots of time when cooking your Christmas dinner
Leek and toasted pecans
Ingredients:
1 leek
1/2 onion
1 and 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
1/2 cup dry fruit
Olive oil
1 tablespoons dry sage
Sea salt and black pepper
Method:
1. Toast the pecans for 5 minutes in a frying pan
2. Remove from the frying pan and sauté the onion and leek with some olive oil
3. Add breadcrumbs, sage, pecans, fruit, a little extra drizzle of olive oil and season to taste
2. Apple, cranberries & toasted almonds
Ingredients:
– 2 cooking apples
– 1 onion
– 1 and 1/2 cups of breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup cranberries
– 1 tablespoons dry sage
– 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
– sea salt and pepper
Method:
1. Sauté the onion
2. Add breadcrumbs and sauté for a few minutes
3. Add toasted almonds (I toasted in the oven for 5 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius)
4. Add cranberries, sage and seasoning
3. Sausage & Sage
Ingredients:
– 3 sausages
– 1 onion
– 1 and 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
– 1 tablespoons dry sage
– sea salt and pepper
Method:
1. Sauté onion
2. Remove the little thin cover on the sausages and fry with the onion while chopping it with your spoon
3. Add breadcrumbs, sage and season to taste
4. Put a blob of butter in the middle to melt
