Healthy Pecan Pie


I tasted this recipe at the start of the month and felt in live with it!

My granny used to make this all the time and I basically just swapped the ingredients for healthy ones andcame up with this vegan treat!

Preheat your oven at 180 degrees Celcius

For the base:

1 cup of almonds

1 cup of spelt flour (you can use oat flour)

1/2 cup of dates

3 tablespoons of honey

4 tablespoons of melted coconut oil 

Blend all ingredients on your food processor and press into a previously greased mould. (I greased with coconut oil)

Bake for 15 minutes

For the middle base:

1 cup of pecans

1 jar of 170g of cashew butter

About 24 dates

4 tablespoons maple syrup 

1 teaspoon of cinnamon 

1/4 cup almond milk

Blend all ingredients and place this mix on top of your baked base. Do it once the base has cooled down!

For the top layer:

In a bowl Mix 1 cup of pecans with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon 

Toast in the oven for 5 minutes and place on the very top of you pecan pie!

Serve and enjoy! You won’t regret making this is delicious!
