Actually tofu tastes better if you leave them long to absorb the flavours of the sauce you make for it. Tofu is very high in protein and very low in fat. So it is ideal to substitute meat out of your diet.
So firstly I made a sauce in a bowl with the following ingredients:
1 tablespoon of tahini
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon dijon
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Sea salt and pepper
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
Absorb the water out of the tofu (as much as you can) with kitchen paper and cut the tofu in squares. Place the squares in the sauce and leave them absorb flavours as much as you can.
Cut up tour favourite veggies and form the sticks with the tofu. Place under the grill for 20 minutes turning them every 5 minutes.
I served with a couscous salad and green leaves! Absolutely delicious 👌
