Falafel Rolls. This little vegetarian rolls are a hit, the kids love them and they are an excellent after school snack
1 pack of puff pastry
1 can of chickpeas
1 cup or green peas
1 red onion
1 carrot 🥕
1/2 yellow pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
Pinch of cumin
Sea salt and pepper
Drain chickpeas, pu everything in the blender/food processor and follow the steps on pictures:
Use egg wash to seal them and on top add sesame seeds.
Bake in a previously preheated oven at 200C for 15 minutes.
You can freeze them and cook from frozen in the oven.
You can swap the chickpeas for vegetarian or real sausages and are also a hit 👌🏼
