Cauliflower Rice & Stir Fry Recipe

As you might have seen already on Instagram I am doing a collaboration with Green Isle to review their frozen cauliflower rice.

A lot of people might think frozen food isn’t as fresh as non-frozen or canned foods, but the truth is frozen food is frozen directly after being harvested. And with the first bite, I could certainly taste that freshness.

Some people have been asking me on Instagram if the cauliflower had the same bite as normal rice and the answer to that is yes it does! It’s the same consistency as normal rice but with a lot less calories.

100 grams of normal rice contains 130 calories and this frozen cauliflower rice contains only 18 calories and it keeps you just as full. Each bag of Green Isle Cauliflower Rice has 2 smaller bags of the rice inside. You can use one bag per meal and it is so handy and quick. You only have to pop it in the microwave for 3 minutes and season it and that’s it. I love seasoning mine with lemon, parsley, garlic, sea salt and pepper

Life is so busy that this product is a big help for handy meals that are healthy and quick! So pop to your nearest Tesco and pick up a pack, because it’s an essential in your freezer!

Stir fry and Cauliflower Rice 🍚

You will be surprised how quick you’ll prepare this meal. So handy after a long day!

Here is the recipe so you can make this weekend and enjoy a delicious meal with zero guilt.

Ingredients: (serves 4)

4 pieces of chicken breast

1 red pepper

1 green pepper

1 red onion

2 carrots

10 asparagus (you can use broccoli)

2 bags of frozen Cauliflower rice

For the sauce:

250ml of vegetable stock

60ml of soya or tamari sauce

2 tablespoons of honey

1 tablespoon of cornstarch

1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

(Mix all ingredients well and sauce is done)


1. Cook the chicken with a little bit of olive oil. Season with parsley, garlic and black pepper

2. Chop all your veggies and sauté them

3. Mix the chicken and veggies together and add the soya-honey sauce

4. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes

5. Put the Green Isle cauliflower rice in the microwave for 3 minutes

6. Serve and enjoy 😉
