Meatless Balls on Tomato Sauce

Made this balls a few times now and they are very tasty!

If my boys eat them then in my opinion is a winner recipe in the house!

They are vegan, tasty and very healthy! What else can you ask for really

Ingredients:

2 cans of green lentils (400g each) otherwise cook 2 cups of green lentils

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grounded flaxseed or any type of flour

1 teaspoon smoaked paprika

1 teaspoon ground garlic

Sea salt and pepper

Method:

Drain the lentils until there is absolutely no water in them!

Use a food processor to blend all the ingredients.

Place mix in the fridge and make the sauce in the meantime. This will help you to form balls easier.

For the tomato sauce:

1 can of chopped tomatoes

200ml passata

1 onion

2 basil leaves

Handful of corriander

1  vegetable stock

Method:

Chop the onion and sauté it with a bit of olive oil in a frying pan.

Place the rest of the ingredients and crumble in the sauce the stock cube. Season to taste.

Heat up a second frying pan with some oil. Form the balls and brown them for a bit. Once browned all over put them inside the sauce!

Serve with some rice and enjoy!
